Recently we migrated some services, high intensity bandwidth consumers, on one of our mysql and cluster file servers. The problem that we were running into was the need to send traffic in and out of the same network interface, so incoming requests hypothetically from mysqld services on 192.168.1.26 and iscsi services on 192.168.1.27 would not saturate the same gigabit nics.
